Delegate Responsibilities to the NEA Representative Assembly
Your election as a delegate indicates your commitment and ability to serve your local and state organization at the NEA Representative Assembly. The MTA recognizes this accomplishment and is proud to have you as a member of the state delegation. The responsibility and dedication that you bring to the Representative Assembly will be demonstrated in the most positive manner while you carry out the important work of the Representative Assembly. Inherent in this commitment is your willingness to accept all the responsibilities, duties, special assignments and challenges of a delegate.

- Establish Association policies and objectives;
- Elect the President, the Vice President, the Secretary Treasurer, the at large members of the Board of Directors, and the members of the Executive Committee as provided in this Constitution and/or the Bylaws;
